Lincoln - Alice I. (Gavlik) Milligan, 92, formerly of Lincoln, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Milligan.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Sklarski) Gavlik, she had resided in Lincoln for over sixty years before moving to Burrillville.
Mrs. Milligan worked as a secretary for Owens Corning Fiberglas before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Jude Church, Lincoln where she was a Eucharistic minister, member of the Women's Guild, and volunteered at church activities. She also enjoyed travelling, crocheting, and painting.
She is survived by two sons, Michael S. Milligan of Lincoln, and Thomas P. Milligan, and his wife Terri-Ann, of Glocester; and two grandchildren, Shannon Milligan and Owen Milligan. She was the mother of the late Robert B. Milligan and the sister of the late Joseph Gavlik.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 8:30 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
