Lincoln - Albert O. Krieger, 100, of Lincoln, died Saturday, June 21, 2025 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the former husband of the late Marjorie E. Krieger.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Albert and Josephine (Bölle) Krieger, he had lived in Lincoln since 1949.
Mr. Krieger worked as a truck driver for Colonial Linens and Angelica Corp., Pawtucket for forty-three years before retiring. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 64.
He was an avid golfer, playing at Lincoln Country Club and Stone-E-Lea until he was 91, and was a woodworker. He was a mason with St. John's Lodge #1, F. & A.M., Providence. Most of all, he was family-oriented and was extremely gratified to recently welcome his twin great granddaughters to the family. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the 386th Harbor Craft Company in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He is survived by one son, Mark S. Krieger, and his wife Deborah, of Lincoln; two grandsons, Bradford S. Krieger, and his wife Jillian Jackson, and Maxwell S. Krieger, and his fiancée Christiana Nocera; three great granddaughters, Annie Krieger, and twins Lucy Krieger and Jane Krieger; and several nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Nolan S. Krieger; and the brother of the late Bertha MacNutt, Marguerite Wallace, Josephine Balzer and Eleanor Duquette.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
