Albert T. Butler

Barrington - Albert T. Butler, 97, formerly of Pine Avenue, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at Novant Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, N.C. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Stewart) Butler.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Clarence F. and Mary B. (Tingley) Butler, he had lived in Barrington for fifty-eight years before moving to St. James, North Carolina.

Mr. Butler worked for Amica Insurance for thirty-nine years, retiring as Assistant Vice President in 1984. He was a graduate of Bryant College.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and was an active member of the Barrington Congregational Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Janice M. Brancaccio of St. James, N.C.; one brother, David T. Butler of Lincoln; four grandchildren; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Joyce M. Heintz; and the brother of the late Benjamin F. Butler, Ruth E. Davis and Edith H. White.

His funeral will be celebrated Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
