Lincoln – Wanda S. (Ogorzalek) Thornley, 96, formerly of Cabot Street, Lincoln passed away peacefully Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Thornley.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Navoy) Ogorzalek, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 52 years.
During World War II, Mrs. Thornley worked in the jewelry industry making pieces for rifles for the military.
She was a communicant of St. Jude’s Church, Lincoln.
She is survived by her loving son, Donald J. Thornley of Lakeville, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Josephine LaRue.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 29 at 10 A.M. in St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
