Lincoln – Therese R. (Daneault) Petrin, 95, of Albion passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Saint Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Fernand H. Petrin.
Born in Mapleville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Zulema (Lusignan) Daneault, she had lived in Albion for over sixty-five years.
Mrs. Petrin was an active member of Saint Ambrose Church, Albion. She was a volunteer for many years at L’Hospice St. Antoine and the former Ephpheta House. She was a member of the Golden Agers of Manville and Albion.
She is survived by her six loving children, Monique Goddard of Pascoag, Denise Jordan of Lynden, Washington, Suzanne Peipock of Cumberland, Francine Nelligan of Blackstone, Massachusetts, Fernand H. “Pete” Petrin, Jr. of Hillsborough, North Carolina and Little Compton Fire Chief and former Albion Fire Chief Richard Petrin of Somerset, Massachusetts; one sister, Grace Lamoureux of Hicksville, New York; her fourteen beloved grandchildren; her twenty beloved great grandchildren; her one beloved great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Audette.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 12 at 7:45 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in Saint Ambrose Cemetery, Albion.
