Theresa M. (Raymond) Bear

Seekonk, Massachusetts – Theresa M. (Raymond) Bear, 91, formerly of Bear Hill Road, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stewart W. Bear.

Born in Manville, a daughter of the late Conrad and Mary (Kelly) Raymond, she had lived in Seekonk for over fifty years.

Mrs. Bear was a secretary for William Slattery Real Estate, Pawtucket, retiring in 2012.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Bear of Norfolk, Virginia, and David Bear, and his wife Virginia Reilly Bear of Accord, New York, one sister, Joan Chito, and her husband Charles, of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Jessica VanMatre, and her husband Kelly, Ian Bear, and Angus Bear; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Private burial will take place in Seekonk Cemetery, Seekonk, Massachusettts.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket, R.I. 02860 would be appreciated.
