Steven T. Cawley

Steven Thomas Cawley, 67 of Lincoln, RI passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Miriam Hospital, Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Meredith Elizabeth (McCaw) Cawley.  They had been married for 43 years.  He was born in Central Falls on September 20, 1951 to Thomas Edward Jr. and Bernadette (Laferriere) Cawley of Central Falls.

He received his Associate Degree from Bryant University and graduated from RI School of Electronics.

Steve was a man of few words with a big heart, loved his sudoku and puzzle books, an avid reader, loved the outdoors and active in Boy Scouts for many years, a big dog lover, especially his favorite dog Kaylee. A hard working family man.

Besides his wife and parents he is survived by two daughters Tara Meredith Feole of Lincoln and Chiyo Wada of Japan, one son Tyler Steven Cawley and his fiancé Jessica Lynn Poff of Smithfield, KY; two sisters, Debra A. Cawley of East Providence, and Nancy P. Jean and her husband Tim Jean of Lincoln; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Paul and Deborah Theriault of Lincoln; two nieces, and two nephews.

Steve's pride and joy, who will carry on his legacy are his grandchildren, Amanda, Gabriella, Jon-Luca, Jessalyn, Jayln and Leland; and great grandson Rylan.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 2 pm on Saturday, April 27th 2019 at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
