Shirlee J. McCormack

Lincoln – Shirlee J. McCormack, 68, of Wake Robin Road, died Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Miriam Hospital, Providence.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Matthew J. and Harriet (Bray) McCormack, she had lived in Pawtucket for many years before moving to Lincoln fourteen years ago.

Miss McCormack was a registered nurse at Miriam Hospital, Providence, and at the Neponset Valley Health System, before retiring.  She was a graduate of Roger Williams Medical Center School of Nursing, and a graduate of Salve Regina University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

She was a member of the Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield, and a former member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Pawtucket.

She is survived by her brother, Matthew T. McCormack of Sun City West, Arizona; her niece and nephews, Lindsay Fernandes, Shawn McCormack and Michael McCormack.; and her cousins, Robert Hall, John Smithson and Beverly Letendre..  She was the sister of the late Dennis McCormack.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Historic Swan Point Chapel, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.  Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
