Cumberland – Roma M. (Driscoll) Glass, 88, of Royal Court, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late W. Wesley Glass.
Born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Kast) Driscoll, she had lived in Hawthorne, New Jersey, moving to Cumberland twenty-five years ago.
After her graduation from high school, she worked at the First National Bank of Sayre, Pennsylvania, until her marriage, upon which she devoted herself to raising her family. She later went back to work in the Accounting Department at the former Stearns Federated Dept. Store, before retiring.
Mrs. Glass was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Cumberland, where she served as a deacon, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Presbyterian Women.
She is survived by two daughters, Laura L. Rogers, and her husband David, of Geneseo, New York, and Norma J. Kunis, and her husband Paul, of Cumberland; two sisters, Ruth Phillips of Denver, Colorado, and Betty L. Skinner of Milan, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Danielle L. Kunis and Christian P. Kunis. She was the sister of the late Gene Driscoll.
A Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving will be celebrated Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Private burial will be in Arnold Mills Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Calvin Presbyterian Church Music Fund, 126 Angell Road, Cumberland, R.I. 02864 would be appreciated.
