Lincoln – Robert P. Howe (Ret. Major USMC), 60, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Carol E. (Scarpaci) Howe.
Born in Lowell, MA, a son of Mary Frances (Crowley) Howe of Milford, MA and the late James E. Howe, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 30 years.
Mr. Howe received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his MBA from Babson College.
He was an account executive for International Group Insurance for John Hancock Insurance Company for the past 30 years.
A 20-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served in Desert Storm and retired with the rank of Major.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his loving children, Margaret K. Howe of Providence, Redmond F. Howe of Johnston, and Michael T. and Patrick K. Howe, both of Lincoln; two brothers, James E. Howe, Jr. of Shrewsbury, MA and Timothy J. Howe of Hooksett, NH; one sister, Mary F. Cornell of Milford, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, November 19 at 8:30 A.M. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Ambrose Church, Albion. His burial, with military honors, will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
