Rita R. (Battey) Magner

Lincoln – Rita R. (Battey) Magner, 93, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Hebert Nursing Home, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Magner.

   Born in East Greenwich, a daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Patenaude) Battey, she had lived in Cumberland and Pawtucket for many years before moving to Lincoln 20 years ago.

   She is survived by her two loving daughters, Mary Ann Gadbois and her husband, Stephen of Lincoln, and Erin Asciola and her husband, Joseph of Bristol; her beloved five grandsons, Stephen and Sean Gadbois, and Thomas, Patrick and Joseph Asciola; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond, Robert, Janet and Ramona Battey.

   Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 27 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston.
