Raymond E. Clement, Jr.

Pawtucket – Raymond E. Clement, Jr., 59, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the fiancé of Mary Beth Hammond of Pawtucket and the husband of the late Harriet R. (Shapiro) Clement.

   Born in Providence, a son of June A. (Scullin) Clement of Pawtucket and the late Raymond E. Clement, he had lived in Florida for 25 years before moving to Pawtucket 17 years ago.

   Ray was a dispatcher for various companies before becoming disabled.

   He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during peacetime.

   He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Pawtucket. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved his pets.

   Besides his fiancée and mother, he is survived by one son, Patrick J. Clement of Pawtucket; two sisters, Brenda J. Clement and Kathleen A. Clement, both of Pawtucket; two brothers, Jeffrey D. Clement, MD of Pawtucket and Kurt F. Allen of North Attleboro, MA.

   A Prayer Service will be held Monday, October 23 at 7 P.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. His burial will be private.

   Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 5-7 P.M.
