Cumberland -Ray H. Clement, 94, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center Providence. He was the beloved husband of Ruth E. (Letondress) Clement.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Edward and Marion (Giles) Clement, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 51 years.
Ray was a member of Christ Church in Lincoln, as well as a former Senior Warden. He was also a member of Mount Moriah Lodge #8, F. & A.M., also of Lincoln.
Ray was a World War II Army Veteran, who was part of the Invasion of Normandy.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Pamela Miller and her husband Jeffrey and Elizabeth Ann Lussier; three sons William Clement, John T. O’Connor and his wife Sandra, and David O’Connor and his wife Kimberly. He leaves nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Ruth Dalpe and Robert Clement and the brother-in-law of the late Malcolm Ward and Dorothy Ward.
His Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln RI on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10 A.M. His private burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
