Pauline Smith Obituary

Lincoln – Pauline M. (King) Smith, 87, of Cecile Street, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Smith.

Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Christopher E. and Catherine P. (Sullivan) King, she had lived in Lincoln since 1963.

Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Central Falls High School, and a former communicant of Saint Edward Church, Pawtucket.

She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Coletta of Warwick, and Frances Smith of Methuen, Massachusetts; four sons, Brian Smith of Youngsville, North Carolina, Bruce Smith of North Attleborough, Massachusetts, Keith Smith of Staten Island, New York, and Kenneth Smith of Warwick; three sisters, Eleanor White of Cumberland, Catherine Boily of Cumberland, and Joan Becker of Waldorf, Germany; one brother Paul King of Cumberland; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She was the great grandmother of the late William J. Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Sunday, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 would be appreciated.
