Pauline Wolf Kozuch

South Kingstown, RI – Pauline Wolf Kozuch, 87 of Wakefield, RI passed away peacefully Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hallworth House, Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Ronald A. Kozuch. They were married for 49 years.

   Born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Alfred and Catherine (Young) Wolf, she had resided in South Kingstown, RI and Bradenton, FL for many years.

   Pauline graduated from Bulkeley High School, Hartford, CT in 1950, where she was the co-editor of the weekly newspaper, a cheerleader, President of the Alpha Theta Pi sorority, and organized class reunions. She attended the University of Connecticut and was a lifelong member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She graduated from the Western New England University School of Law in 1984 and was a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.

   Pauline taught elementary grades in Tolland and Vernon, CT, and then worked in law firms in Glastonbury and Hartford before retiring to Tara Golf and Country Club in Bradenton, FL for many years. She was a member of the Tara Niners Golf group, serving a year as President. Summers were spent at Green Hill Beach in South Kingstown, RI. Pauline also maintained her membership at Green Hill Beach Club, enjoying the clubhouse on the ocean and the many activities there. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports, enjoyed traveling, watching classic movies and going to the local theater.

   She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn DeFrancesco (Dr. Martin) of Greensboro, NC and Elizabeth Dawber (Martin Bodner) of Lincoln, RI; her grandchildren, Kevin Dawber (fiancée Maura Swords) of Newton, MA, Eric Dawber of Lincoln, RI, and Maria, Anna, Martin, Jr. and Olivia DeFrancesco; her sister, Elizabeth “Katie” Thomas of Thornton, CO and Sarasota, FL; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
