Muriel Lussier Obituary

Lincoln – Muriel A. (Poisson) Lussier, 77, of Manville, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Paul G. Lussier.

Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Normand and Rose (Pinsonneault) Poisson, she had been a lifelong resident of Manville.

Mrs. Lussier was a co-owner, with her late husband Paul, and John Hunt, of Planned Environments Corp., which developed Wake Robin Properties in Lincoln.

She was a graduate of Saint Clare High School, Class of 1958, where she was co-captain of the basketball team.  She was a communicant of Saint James Church, Manville, where she played and coached softball and basketball for Saint James CYO.  She enjoyed home decorating, particularly for her company’s condo and rental units; enjoyed travelling and attending the theatre, and especially enjoyed sailing her schooner “Bluenose” for many years on Narragansett Bay.

Her family would like to give special thanks to Comfort Keepers Home Care, Charter Care Nurses, and the staff at the Philip Hulitar Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Lussier, and her husband Ed DiGeronimo, of Framingham, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Brian and Katie DiGeronimo, of Framingham, Massachusetts; her sisters, Rachel Pacheco and Jacqueline Ezovski, both of Lincoln; her loving caregivers, Rita Church and Dawn Tedesco; and her cat Molly.  She was the sister of the late Richard Poisson.
