Mary L. (Ribeiro) Dos Santos

Pawtucket – Mary L. (Ribeiro) Dos Santos, 91, of Pawtucket, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Memorial Hospital of R.I., Pawtucket.  She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Dos Santos, and the former wife of Mario Henriques.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Machado) Ribeiro, she had been a lifelong resident of the city.

Mrs. Dos Santos worked as a solderer at FKC Engineering, Pawtucket, for seventeen years, retiring in 1986.  She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen J. Dos Santos, and Richard R. Dos Santos, both of Pawtucket; and several nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of the late Joseph M. Dos Santos, and the sister of the late Alice Azevedo, Elvira Santos, Isabelle Reis, James Ribeiro, Frank Ribeiro, George Ribeiro, Raymond Ribeiro, John Ribeiro and Norman Ribeiro.  She was very proud of all six of her brothers for serving in World War II.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886 would be appreciated.
