Martha M. (Houle) Bennett

Lincoln – Martha M. (Houle) Bennett, 87, formerly of Lincoln, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Bennett.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alcide and Martha (Philbin) Houle.

Mrs. Bennett worked as an assembler for Texas Instruments, Inc., before retiring.

She is survived by three daughters, Martha Catineult of Providence, Janet Everett of Texas, and Donna Concannon of Vermont; three sons, Frank Pickton of the Philippines, John Pickton of Texas, and Mark Pickton of Massachusetts; five brothers, Frances Laurendeau of Florida, Alice Seccareccia of South Attleboro, Ann Tetreault of Pawtucket, Maureen LeBlanc of Pawtucket, and Joan Frisolone of Seekonk; four brothers, Alcide Houle of Lincoln, Robert Houle of Maryland, David Houle of Washington, DC, and William Houle of Florida; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Patricia Tague.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
