My sincere condolences to the Caldwell and Hobbs family. Because God loves and cares for us, especially when we are going through the pain of loosing a loved one, he inspired words of comfort and hope. These words can be found in The Holy Scriptures. Psalm 34:18 reads: "Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit". Jesus said in John 5:28: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The wonderful hope of a resurrection and being able to see our loved ones again in the near future, can give us a great measure of consolation. Psalm 94:19 also reads: "When anxieties overwhelmed me, You comforted and soothed me". We pray that the God of all comfort and tender mercies soothe your hearts with his loving care during this very difficult and painful time.
Sincerely, Maggie Catalano/jw.org
