Linda A. Nazareth, 54, of Cumberland, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 10, 2018
Linda was born on July 31, 1963 and was a lifelong resident of Cumberland, RI. She worked at the Arc of Northern Rhode Island, a sheltered workshop for the developmentally disabled.
Linda is survived by her siblings, Annette Nazareth (Roger Ferguson), Cynthia Nazareth Minor, Stephen Nazareth (Patricia); nieces and nephews whom she adored, Sarah, Stephanie, and Andrea Minor; Christopher Nazareth (Jamie), Matthew Nazareth and Arielle Nazareth Barber (Matthew Barber); Roger III and Caroline Ferguson; and two grand-nephews Roland and Theodore Barber
She is recently predeceased by her parents, George and Dolores Nazareth.
Linda was an active member of the SPRED (Special Religious Education) Program at St. Joan of Arc Church in Cumberland, and also served as an acolyte there.
Linda loved her family and friends above all else. Her love was unconditional. She never expressed an unkind word and she truly looked for the good in others. She worked to the best of her ability and was an inspiration to all. Her infectious smile and laugh, as well as her hugs, were legendary and warmed hearts. Linda was a blessing to her family and friends and her impact on their lives was immeasurable. Her love and friendship will be greatly missed.
Only GOD could take circumstances that at first seem overwhelming and heartbreaking and turn it into something so wonderful, beautiful and a blessing to behold.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
