Judith F. (Santos) Leca

Central Falls – Judith F. (Santos) Leca, 73, of Central Falls passed away peacefully Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Summit Commons, Providence.

   Born in Cape Verde Islands, a daughter of the late Afonso F. and Leandra (Santos) Santos, she had lived in Central Falls for most of her life.

   Mrs. Leca worked at the former Industrial National Bank, later the former Fleet Bank before becoming an assembler at the former Osram-Sylvania plant in Central Falls before retiring.

   She is survived by one son, Jorge G. DeMelo of Cranston; three sisters, Maria Martin and Amelia Poisson, both of Dallas, GA, and Maria Delgado of Pawtucket; one brother, Theodore Gomes of The Netherlands; two granddaughters, Madison and Olivia DeMelo; and several nieces and nephews.
