She was a renowned barbershop singer, singing bass with the Harmony Heritage Chapter of Harmony, Inc. winning two International Quartet Championships.

She was an avid reader, and loved to play games of any type.  She loved animals, especially butterflies and cats, but most of all loved her family and her former husband.

Besides her mother and former husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jessica Garriepy, and her fiancé Roland Jacques, of Foster; one son, Aaron Simpson, and his wife Sarah, of Lincoln; five sisters, Ann Johnson of Palmetto, Florida, Christine Maino of Lincoln, Mary Jane Crusselle, and her husband Bill, of Palmetto, Florida, Martha Wallick, and her husband Dale, of Barrington, and Janet Johnson, and her husband Jack, of North Attleborough, Massachusetts; four brothers, David Wright, and his wife Lola, of Pawtucket, William Wright, and his wife Susan, of North Kingstown, Richard Wright, and his wife Ann Sasso, of Lincoln, and Jonathan Wright, and his fiancée Donna Rocchio of North Providence; four grandchildren, Hailey Hill, Liam Garriepy, Molly Garriepy and Caleb Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be celebrated Monday, January 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Lime Rock Baptist Church, 1075 Great Road, Lincoln.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Her burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904 would be appreciated.
