Heather Smith Obituary

Lincoln – Heather L. (Irvine) Smith, 53, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Monday, November 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 28 years to Dwayne H. Smith.

   Born in Sheridan, WY, a loving daughter of Mick Irvine of Casper, WY and Kerry (McDermott) Peters (Ronald) of Hot Springs, SD, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 20 years.

   Heather worked for Alexion Pharmaceuticals for over 10 years before becoming Project Manager for Regulatory Affairs for Sanofi in Massachusetts, where she had worked the past 6 months.

   She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of South Dakota and had also taken advanced courses in Applied Pharmaceuticals.

   Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her two beloved sons, Cameron and Kyle Smith, both of Lincoln; her loving brother, Michael Irvine of Libby, MT; and several nieces and nephews.

   Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10 A.M. in St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Her burial will be private.

   Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Sunday 2-5 P.M.
