Smithfield – Guy E. Marrapese, 51, formerly of Lincoln, died Friday, September 21, 2018 with his family by his side. He was the beloved companion of Debra Ottaviano of Smithfield.
Born in Providence a son of June (Hauser) Marrapese, and the late Frank Marrapese, he had lived in Lincoln for many years before moving to Smithfield two years ago.
Mr. Marrapese worked as a carpenter with C & J Forms, North Kingstown, J.L. Marshall & Sons, Seekonk, Mass., and Marguerite Concrete, Inc., Hopedale, Mass., retiring in June of this year. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local 94, and an avid fan of the New England Patriots and New York Yankees.
Besides his mother and companion, he is survived by two sons, Dylan Marrapese, and Kyle Marrapese, both of Attleboro, Massachusetts; one sister, Meredith Cahoon of Warwick; three brothers, David Marrapese of Johnston, Jay Marrapese of North Kingstown, and Michael Marrapese of Scituate; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 8:45 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
