Cumberland – Emily M. Dufour, 93, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Dufour.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Kariem and Angelina (Shaieb) Koussa, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 58 years.
Mrs. Dufour worked at the former Owen-Corning Fiberglas Company before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Aidan and St. Patrick Parish, Cumberland.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Anderson and her husband, James of Johnston; one son, David J. Dufour of Pawtucket; one brother, Edward Koussa of Lake Havasu, AZ; four grandchildren, James Anderson, Jr., Michael and Joseph Anderson, and Christopher Dufour; one great grandson, James Anderson, III; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lena Aissis, Harold Koussa, Frederick Koussa, Dr. Louis Koussa, Joseph Koussa, Z. Jerry Koussa and George Koussa.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 28 at 8:45 A.M. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Aidan’s Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
