Our sincere condolences to the DelGrande family and friends. Due to the fact that God loves and cares for us, especially when we are going through the pain of loosing a loved one, he inspired words of comfort and hope. These words can be found in The Holy Scriptures. Psalm 34:18 reads: "Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit". Jesus said in John 5:28: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The wonderful hope of a resurrection and being able to see our loved ones again in the near future, can give us a great measure of consolation. Psalm 94:19 also reads: "When anxieties overwhelmed me, You comforted and soothed me". We pray that the God of all comfort and tender mercies soothe your hearts with his loving care during this very difficult and painful time.
Sincerely, Maggie Catalano/jw.org

I was so sorry to hear my friend Eddy passed away. We had so many good times together and so much fun. Eddy was the original comedian in that family. I remember having coffee one night with him at the Newport Creamery and I was leaving, and Eddy paying at the register, he says loud enough for everyone in there to hear. Look at that guy leaving. He stole the coffee cup. Of Course that got everyone to look at me, the Coffee Cup Bandit. I could tell so many stories, but I will always remember the fun and good times.

Eddy was a great Councilman representing Limerock for 20 years and then Lonsdale. Eddy was the force that prevented Sunday Racing at Lincoln Downs. Now we have a 24hour, 7 day a week Casino. Nobody worked harder for his constituents than Eddy. We used to say before he was a Councilman, Eddy drove a red Cadillac Convertible, and after all his time on the Council ended up driving a Van.
He helped many people out, and he never said no or sort any reward or recognition.
I am grateful I was able to be a friend for so many years. Eddy and Carmela are two special people. It has been a very difficult year for the Del Grande Family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers and those of my family.
