Doris H. (Corry) Nightingale

Lincoln – Doris H. (Corry) Nightingale, 89, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Sunday, December 17, 2017 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late David Nightingale.

   A lifelong resident of Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late R. Samuel and Marie G. (Cardin) Corry.

   Doris was a music teacher in the Lincoln School Department for 35 years before retiring in 1989. She was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music.

   She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Cumberland.

   She is survived by one brother, Robert Corry and his wife, Dorothy of Cumberland; four nephews, Jay Corry of Richmond and James Corry of Holmes, NY, William Gill of Chickamauga, GA and Ronald Champigny of Lincoln; and several cousins.

   Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19 at 11 A.M. in Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road, Cumberland. Her burial will be private.
