Cumberland – David W. Egan, 64, of Cumberland passed away peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Anderson) Egan.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Frederick T. and Mary E. (Kearns) Egan, he had lived in Cumberland all of his life.
Mr. Egan was a foreman for the Providence & Worcester Railroad for over 20 years and had also worked in the construction field.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Kelly Dwyer and her husband Paul, and Daniel Egan and his wife Andrea, all of Cumberland; two brothers, Thomas Egan and his wife Taya of Wasilla, Alaska and Dennis R. Egan of Intervale, New Hampshire; his four beloved grandchildren, Madison, Kate, Mason and Kendal; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael J. Egan.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. His burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
