Catherine Webb Obituary

Pawtucket – Catherine R. “Kay” (Healy) Webb, 92, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Bethany Home on the East Side of Providence surrounded by her loving family. The loving and devoted wife of 68 years to the late George H. “Mike” Webb III, she leaves behind her seven loving children and spouses – John Webb of Providence, Claudia Holliman of Gloucester, MA, Jayne and Edward Rainville of Pawtucket, Michele and John Callahan of Narragansett, Michael and Mary Webb of Pawtucket, Daniel and Lisa Webb of Rockport, MA and Suzanne Webb of Warwick. The daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Healey) Healy of Pawtucket, she was sister to the late Judy Graveline and Frank Healy. She was the proud Nana to fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, and mother-in-law of the late Gail Webb.

Her lifetime career as a homemaker attributed to her being an amazing Mom who truly enjoyed and cherished her entire family. A supporter of the local community, she volunteered at the Central Falls Soup Kitchen and the Pawtucket School System’s lunch programs. An avid knitter, she was recently honored for contributing hundreds of newborn baby blankets and hats to Women & Infants Hospital. Hobbies she truly relished were following local and national sports teams, mastering daily crossword puzzles, and competing in multiple games of Scrabble.

Kay served as a role model to her family as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be tremendously missed by all.
