Hopkinton – Catherine J. (D’Agostino) Hunter, 76, of Hope Valley and formerly of Lincoln, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at home. She was the beloved wife of Charles K. Hunter.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Gilluly) D’Agostino, she had lived in Lincoln for most of her life before moving to Hope Valley 2 years ago.
Mrs. Hunter was a rehabilitation technician at Kindred Rehabilitation Care before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Jude’s Church, Lincoln.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving children, Karen LaBrosse (Jim) of Hope Valley, Donna Valentine (Chuck) of Mendon, MA, Kristen Kuras (David) of Lincoln, Albion Deputy Fire Chief Robert E. Valentine (Linda) of Cumberland, and James P. Valentine (Wistee) of Apopka, FL; two stepsons, Thomas Hunter (Lynn) of Auburn, NY and Stuart Hunter of Newport; four sisters, Mary-Louise Stiles of Montana, Margaret D’Agostino of Westerly, Joan Camire of Centerville, MA and Ann Marie McGinn of South Dennis, MA; two brothers, John D’Agostino of Westbrook, CT and Paul D’Agostino of Lincoln; one sister-in-law, Joyce Fontaine of Lincoln; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and another one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 9 A.M. in St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Her burial will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Friday 4-7 P.M.
