Cumberland – Caryn F. (Fortin) Boudreau, 63, of Pequot Avenue, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Boudreau, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late George T. and Gertrude (Forcier) Fortin, she had lived in Blackstone, Massachusetts, and Brighton, Michigan, before moving to Cumberland eight years ago.
Mrs. Boudreau worked as a purchasing agent for NHD Hardware Stores and Ocean State Job Lot. She loved to travel, and made sure to enjoy life prior to her illness.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynda Proietti of Danielson, Connecticut; two stepchildren, Lori Sevigny of Burrillville, and Robert H. Boudreau, Jr. of Warwick; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Church, 103 Pine Street, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of R.I, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904 would be appreciated.
