It is with sadness I write these words on behalf of my family in Norway. Barbra was a wonderful person and we will truly miss her. I am so happy that we got to know Barbra as the beautiful person. She always had the smile and warm welcome for me and my family during our meetings both in Cumberland RI and in Oslo Norway. In addition, my father has also good memories from the time he spent with the Barbra and Perry in Boston several years ago. Our thought goes to Heidi, Perf, and the rest of the family for their loss. Dear family of Mrs. Barbara A. Josephson, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, "death will be swallowed up forever."(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our dear loved ones to life again. So saddened to read of Barbara's passing. I knew her from my reporting days at The Call and from the YWCA. She was the most compassionate person I ever have met, and her understanding of people in circumstances different from my own stays with me to this day. I have thought of her wisdom many times over years, and I always will.
