Lincoln – Armand H. Ferland, 67, of South Street, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Henry and Cecile (Mandeville) Ferland, he had lived in Lincoln for the past twenty-six years.

Mr. Ferland worked as a machine operator at Texas Instruments before retiring.

An U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Indochina during the Vietnam War.  He was an avid photographer, and enjoyed taking pictures of his family, and of nature.

He is survived by his brother, Roger R. Ferland, and his wife Donna, of Lincoln; his niece and nephew, Brian Ferland, and his wife Ruth, and Kristi Lavoie, and her husband, Ryan, all of Cumberland; and his great niece and great nephews, Izabella Ferland, Zeeano Ferland and Bruno Lavoie.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Saint Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. 

Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Monday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516, or to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, 90 Park Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10016 would be appreciated.
