Alyssa M. Wright

Smithfield – Alyssa M. Wright, 36, of Smithfield, died Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.  She was the loving daughter of Harold J. and Carol (Sorbello) Wright of Smithfield.

Born in Providence, she grew up in Smithfield, and had lived in Providence, before moving back to Smithfield two years ago.

Alyssa was a graduate of Mount Saint Charles Academy, Woonsocket, and a graduate of Pine Manor College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Kerstin Rossel, and her husband Rob, of Epping, New Hampshire; one brother, Jonathan Wright of Woonsocket; and two nephews, Luke Rossel and Aidan Rossel.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.  Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 would be appreciated.
