Lincoln – Robert F. Fanion, Jr., born on December 29, 1964, in Kalispell, Montana, and a resident of Lincoln, R.I., passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2018, from complications of pneumonia.
Bob was a graduate of St. Raphael’s Academy in Pawtucket, and pursued a career in the food service industry. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the New England sports teams. He enjoyed playing softball, and played on many teams wherever he went.
He leaves behind his parents, Robert Sr. and Louise (Everett) Fanion; his children, Robert Francis III, Cory and Melanie Fanion; sister, Kim, and her husband Durand Cercone of Northfield, Maine; brother Brian, and his wife Melissa of Providence; and brother Kevin, and his wife Amy, of Burrillville; as well as his nephews, Jacen Fanion, Kyle Fanion, Alexander Fanion and Zachary Fanion; and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. The family will greet family and friends prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to perform a random act of kindness.
