Our sincere condolences to the Ross-Trost family. Because God cares for us, especially when we are going through the pain of loosing a loved one, he inspired words of comfort and hope. These words can be found in The Holy Scriptures. Psalm 34:18 reads: "Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted, he saves those who are crushed in spirit". Our lord Jesus said in John 5:28: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The wonderful hope of a resurrection and being able to see our loved ones again in the near future, can give us a great measure of consolation. Psalm 94:19 also reads: "When anxieties overwhelmed me, You comforted and soothed me". We pray that the God of all comfort and tender mercies soothe your hearts with his loving care.
Sincerely, Maggie Catalano/jw.org

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

My condolences to Pat's family. I was the pet sitter for Pat Ross and her cats a few years ago, and was saddened to see she had passed away. She was a warm, caring person who loved her cats. I enjoyed our talks very much. I know how much she loved her family, she loved telling me about her grandchildren. The world is a little less brighter since she has gone, but I will always remember her. May God give you comfort during your time of grief.
