Olive B. Gavitt

Cumberland – Olive B. Gavitt, 90, formerly of Cumberland, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Edith (Wild) Gavitt, she had lived most of her life in Cumberland.

She was a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #2, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one niece, Susan Ginsky of Oakland, CA; and four nephews, C. Mack Gavitt, Jay Gavitt, Chris Gavitt, and Guy Gavitt.  She was the sister of the late Edna A. Gavitt, Mildred. P Gavitt, Arnold E. Gavitt, Charles W. Gavitt and Harold I. Gavitt.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, 75 Fairview Avenue, Coventry.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, R.I. 02896, would be appreciated.  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
