Martha (Ramos) McCormick

Pawtucket – Martha (Ramos) McCormick, 90, of Pawtucket passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. McCormick.

   A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Julia (de Jesus) McCormick.

   Mrs. McCormick worked at Providence Metallizing Company for many years before retiring.

   She loved to garden.

   She is survived by one son, Joseph S. McCormick and his wife, Patricia of North Providence; three sisters, Louise Lima of Smithfield, Izora Bradshaw of Harrisville and Myra Amaral of Pawtucket; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly McCormick; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Haley McCormick; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Borges, Alcina Cook and Anthony Ramos.

   Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Friday, May 19 from 9 – 10:30 A.M. followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Her burial will be in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
