Lincoln – Lillian (Wilson) George, 79, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Monday, December 4, 2017 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Homer W. George, Jr.

   Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Jack and Margaret (McLachlan) Wilson, she grew up in Cranston and had lived in Cumberland and Lincoln for most of her life. She was a graduate of Cranston East High School.

   Mrs. George was a hostess at the former Sher-Le-Mon Restaurant in Cumberland. She also worked at Danecraft Jewelry, Better Bake Shop in Lincoln, Pastry Gourmet in Greenville, Providence and North Providence before retiring.

   She was an active member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2929 of Smithfield and she was a former Cub Scout Den mother.

   She is survived by one son, Bill George and his wife, Jennifer of Cumberland; one daughter Linda S. Lunghi and her husband, Michael of East Providence; one sister, Jacqueline Wilson of Cranston; one brother, Ronald Wilson of Warwick; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jack Wilson.

   Her funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9 at 11 .M. in Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Her burial will be private.

   Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Friday 4-7 P.M.
