Lincoln – Lawrence J. Choquette, 90, of Franklin Street, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Czekanski) Choquette.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Lawrence and Isabelle (Horsfield) Choquette, he had lived in Lincoln for over sixty-five years.
Mr. Choquette worked at Salois Dairy and Narragansett Coated Paper Co. before retiring over thirty years ago.
He was a member of the Lincoln Council, Knights of Columbus, and a communicant of St. Jude Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Caroline Choquette of Lincoln; three sons, John J. Choquette of Smithfield; Robert Choquette of St. Petersburg, FL; and Lawrence J. Choquette, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Lucchesi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Private burial will be in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
