Lincoln – Kelly E. (Powers) Wright, 46, of Front Street, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Miriam Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Donald P. Wright. Mr. & Mrs. Wright had been married for twenty years.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of Dennis Powers of Florida and Louise C. (Lanowy) Dolan of Ohio, she had lived in Lincoln for the past seventeen years.
Mrs. Wright worked as a Health Aide at the former Wrentham State School before retiring.
She loved to volunteer her time, and to fundraise, and did so with the Cub Scouts, and with the Gridiron Club at Lincoln High School.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one son, Thomas J. Wright of Lincoln; and one brother, Shawn P. Powers of Ohio.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886 would be appreciated.
