Ellen M. (Glew) Shoushanian

Ellen May (Glew) Shoushanian, of Scituate, RI passed away peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2017.  Born in Providence on October 15, 1946, she was the caring daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Devine) Glew.

Ellen was the beloved wife of Hrant H. Shoushanian with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage.  Ellen leaves behind two daughters; Randy Perry and her husband Thomas of Foxborough, MA; Robin Porter and her husband Jason of Needham, MA.  She was also the cherished Nana of four grandchildren, Mac, Faith, Ethan and T.J.  

Ellen was the sister of Irene McCormick and the late Carol Mumford, the sister-in-law of Sue Bailey and Araxi Shoushanian, and the loving aunt of her nephew and nieces.  

She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Ellen’s highest priority was always her family, and she will be greatly missed.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
