Daniel J. Arruda

Providence – Daniel J. Arruda, 57, of Providence passed away peacefully at home in his sleep Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

   Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late James and Barbara (White) Arruda, he had lived in Providence for the past 8 years.

   Daniel worked many years for the Palmer Spring Company in Providence.

   In his younger years, he loved to play street hockey and, as he grew older, he avidly followed New England sports teams.

   He is survived by two sons, Daniel Tyler Arruda and Nicholas Arruda, both of Seekonk, MA; his sister, Candace Gusmano of Michigan; and his former wife, Mary Arruda of Seekonk, MA.
