Alice F. (Viau) Desautell

North Providence – Alice F. (Viau) Desautell, 93, of North Providence and formerly of Central Falls, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George D. Desautell.

   Born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Laura (Cote) Viau, she had lived in Central Falls for most of her life before moving to North Providence 13 years ago.

   She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church, Providence.

   She is survived by her loving children, Linda Paradise of North Providence and George D. Desautell and his wife, Nancy of Manville; her three beloved grandchildren, Jason Desautell, Amy DelaTerre and Stacie Paradise; and her two beloved great grandchildren, Quinn and Isaiah DelaTerre.

   Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 16 at 9 A.M. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

   Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Friday 4-7 P.M.
