Alberto V. Erfe, M.D.

Lincoln – Alberto V. Erfe, M.D., 78 of Lincoln passed away peacefully Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Hilda (Giron) Erfe.

   Born in the Philippines, a son of the late Vicente and Nena (Viray) Erfe, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 43 years.

   Dr. Erfe was a physician specializing in internal medicine and cardiology for over 40 years. He was a graduate of University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine & Surgery in the Philippines. After arriving in Rhode Island, he was trained at Miriam and Rhode Island Hospitals. He was on the staff of Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket and the former Fogarty Memorial Hospital, North Smithfield.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son, Vincent Erfe and his wife, Kirstin of Washington, D.C.; his sister, Liza Erfe of the Philippines; his beloved grandchildren, Jack and Madeleine; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Erfe and Enrico Erfe.

    His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 17 at 10 A.M. in St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
