Lincoln – Albert J. Kishfy, 85, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Nelly (Boudjouk) Kishfy. Mr. and Mrs. Kishfy were married for 54 years.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late George and Agiba Kishfy, he had lived in Providence before moving to Lincoln 47 years ago.
Mr. Kishfy was the business owner of the former Big K Supermarket in Providence for 25 years before retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the Church of St. Basil the Great, Lincoln, and a member and former Vice President of the Aleppian Aid Society.
He was a United States Navy veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Lisa Salvati of North Providence, Albert G. Kishfy (Lina) of Smithfield, Kevin Kishfy of Cumberland and Tina Isbitsky (Ronald) of Long Island, NY; one sister, Jeannette Beaton of Central Falls; two brothers, Louis Kishfy of Lincoln and Freddy Kishfy of Warwick; nine beloved grandchildren and two beloved great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Georgianna Andrade.
His Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 29 at 10 A.M. in the Church of St. Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Entombment, with military honors, will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery, Cumberland.
